Watercolor Workshops 2019

I teach on going watercolor monthly workshops at Bowood Farms in St. Louis (see details below). These are great introductory classes that work toward creating a final watercolor by the end of the class.

For those interested in continuing to grow their skill set in watercolors beyond the one day workshop, I will be teaching beginning adults in May on a weekly basis.

I also have several week-long morning workshops for beginning children 10 and up starting in June/July.

Please contact me at amywoodswatercolors@gmail.com if you are interested in private lessons.

Watercolors at Bowood Farms

pansies.jpg

As an artist and gardener, spring is my favorite time of year. And pansies are one of the first flowers to show up and shout for joy announcing the arrival of Spring. Naturally a happy colorful flower like a pansy screams to be painted and I love teaching budding artists just how to do that. Using cheerful spring pansies for inspiration, you will learn to work from the actual subject, rather than photos, to create loose and unique paintings. Get to know your palette and explore what makes painting with watercolor unique. This class is open to all levels of experience. You will go home with your own palette and paintbrush to continue your art practice on your own. Workshop is limited to 12 participants. So, hurry and sign up to join us on...
